Join our Database Engineering Team in Navi Mumbai, a collaborative group of skilled DBAs dedicated to advancing open banking initiatives. Our team supports databases primarily for the US and AUS regions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency. As a Senior Database Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our Banking Database Administration. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and optimizing database processes and participating in research and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for emerging technologies. You will be responsible for database maintenance, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Engage in research and POC initiatives to explore and integrate new database technologies. Work across various database technologies with a strong emphasis on cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience in database management and administration. The shift details include 9-hour shifts, primarily night shifts (6:00 PM - 3:00 AM / 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM) with potential for rotation based on business needs. The interview process involves 2 interview rounds focusing on technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Required expertise includes strong proficiency and hands-on experience in Aurora PostgreSQL and solid understanding and experience in Aurora MySQL. Familiarity with MongoDB is a plus.
