As a Senior Associate - Audit in a CA Firm located in Mumbai (Nariman Point), your primary responsibility will be leading and conducting internal audits and risk assessments for clients primarily in the hotel industry. You will be required to take ownership of the audit process from planning to completion, including conducting audit planning, preparing audit programs, participating in client interviews and walkthroughs, guiding the team on sample selection and audit testing, and utilizing data analytics tools. Moreover, you will be responsible for preparing audit reports, ensuring the timely completion of internal audits, identifying areas of improvement for clients, and providing training to team members on engagement management and audit testing processes. The role will require you to travel 10-12 days a month for at least 6 months a year to client sites. Ideally, you should hold a certification as a Certified Internal Auditor, be a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant, or possess an MBA qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in internal audits within the service sector, specifically in the hotel, hospitality, retail, or healthcare segments. Candidates with internal audit experience in the BFSI segment will not be preferred for this role.
