Job Description

You are looking for a Sr API Tester - Business Loans to join our team with 3 to 5 years of work experience. As a Sr API Tester, you will be responsible for testing REST API's and developing API regression test cases using Selenium Python/Java. You will also work on CI CD implementation using Jenkins to create and maintain basic automation test cases within a defined framework to ensure quality and support a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline. Your role will involve decomposing stories to write effective acceptance criteria and automated test scripts for projects. You will provide input on the test strategy and develop a test strategy for low complexity projects, acting as a quality advocate within your team. Understanding and escalating issues related to the test infrastructure will be crucial, as well as participating in an environment where Test/Behavior-Driven Development is fostered. Documenting and communicating bugs/issues accurately and clearly will be part of your responsibilities, along with interacting with Development and Testing Teams. You will participate in Scrum Daily Stand-up, Sprint, and iterative development activities, being prepared to take on any role within an Agile team. In addition, you will be involved in Sprint planning, release planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Ability to work in a very fast-paced development organization is essential. Your primary skills should include hands-on experience with CICD Tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
