As a SQL Developer Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced developers. Your main responsibilities will include assisting in the development, maintenance, and optimization of SQL databases and queries. You will collaborate with senior developers to design database structures and schema, troubleshoot and resolve database issues, and create stored procedures and functions to enhance database functionality. Additionally, you will participate in database migrations, backups, and data recovery procedures, while continuously learning about database technologies and best practices. To qualify for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong interest in database development, SQL programming, and data management. Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL query syntax is required, along with familiarity with DBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. An analytical mindset, attention to detail, willingness to learn new technologies, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
