South Indian cook is responsible for preparing a variety of authentic dishes while maintaining consistent quality, taste, and presentation. This includes cooking items like dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and various curries according to traditional recipes. They must also ensure timely food preparation, manage kitchen inventory, and adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
Preparing and cooking South Indian dishes according to established recipes and culinary standards.
Quality Control:
Ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes, including taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Inventory Management:
Managing kitchen inventory and ensuring the freshness and quality of ingredients.
Time Management:
Preparing food efficiently and ensuring timely service.
Hygiene and Safety:
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety protocols.
Required Skills:
