As a Procurement Specialist at Chain IQ, your responsibilities will include managing daily procurement activities, conducting sourcing projects of varying complexities, building strong relationships with stakeholders, drafting contracts, negotiating terms with vendors, analyzing spend data, forecasting savings, and utilizing sourcing tools to optimize procurement processes. You will be expected to meet performance objectives, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain a proactive approach in delivering results. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a hands-on approach, a successful track record in procurement, at least three years of experience in a related sourcing category, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure. A customer-service orientation, understanding of sourcing best practices, proficiency in sourcing tools such as SAP, Ariba, or Ivalua, and fluency in English (German is an advantage) are also required.
