Position: Sourcing Engineer / Sourcing Manager Company Overview Frigate is a cloud-based manufacturing startup that provides on-demand manufacturing services to OEM/ODM and product/device companies, helping them identify the right manufacturing vendors and leveraging their existing capacities to get their products manufactured. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Sourcing Engineer to join our team and handle supplier relationships with strong negotiation and sourcing skills. The candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in working with the sourcing department with specialization in Sheet metal, castings, forgings, Machining and ready to work on other commodities as needed. Key Responsibilities Identify potential suppliers and manage supplier relationships for metals such as Castings, forgings, Electricals, Sheet metal, machining and to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms for the company Develop and maintain a database of suppliers and track supplier performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance to ensure smooth procurement processes Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and market trends Maintain accurate purchase records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Monitor inventory levels and place orders for goods and services as needed Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to reduce procurement costs Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field Minimum of 5+ years of experience in working with the sourcing department Strong design (DFM) and negotiation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team Results-driven, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to travel as required Should communicate fluently in Hindi To Apply If you are interested in this exciting opportunity and meet the requirements, please submit your resume highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications at https://frigate.ai/join,
