As a Solution Architect SAP BI at ABB, you will play a crucial role in configuring and maintaining cutting-edge technologies such as SAP BW4/Hanna & SAC solutions to meet the needs of our global business operations. Your responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into functional documentation, overseeing integration with other enterprise systems, and ensuring high-quality, scalable BI systems. You will be accountable for BI reporting system architecture and development, participating in testing phases for new configurations, enhancements, and patches, continuously evaluating reporting solutions for efficiency and automation, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations and integration points. Your expertise in SAP BI tools, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts will be essential to design end-to-end BI solutions effectively. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with at least 8 years of working experience, ideally with 5 years in SAP Business Intelligence architecture and solution design. Proven experience with SAP BI tools, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP modules is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and stakeholder-management skills are essential for successful cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
