Job Description

We are looking to hire a Solar Installation Engineer for our reputed client in Anna Nagar, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or B.E. degree in EEE or ECE with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. As a Solar Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for co-ordinating with the design team to ensure all electrical engineering drawings are completed accurately. You will also manage and co-ordinate with electrical contractors and technical staff for various aspects such as Technology Selection, System Configuration, Electrical Connection, Distribution and Control Systems, and Power Conditioning Systems for solar power plants. The role will involve overseeing the entire project management process from installation to testing and commissioning of the system. You will collaborate with the company's other engineers and program managers to ensure that customer requirements are met effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing plans, coordinating and directing engineering work for major projects or multiple smaller but complex projects. You will also maintain engineering records, lists, and reports to ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, procurement specifications, and to monitor and resolve engineering problems as needed. The salary for this position will be based on the candidate's interview performance. This is a full-time role with a morning shift schedule and work location on the road.
