Solar Engineer
Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation and performance of solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct site assessments and solar feasibility studies.
* Design solar PV systems using tools like PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD.
* Develop electrical schematics, layout drawings, and technical documentation.
* Coordinate with installation teams and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with safety codes, grid standards, and environmental regulations.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
* Optimize system efficiency and recommend upgrades.
* Support R&D for new solar technologies and applications.
Skills:
* Proficiency in solar design software and CAD tools.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and grid integration.
* Knowledge of NEC, IEC, and local building codes.
