We are seeking a Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. As an entry-level QA professional, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets user requirements and business needs. Responsibilities: Test Planning & Execution: Assist in creating and executing manual test cases based on product requirements. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications. Report defects and track them in a bug-tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with developers to understand the software functionality and provide feedback on product quality. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review meetings. Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and any discovered issues. Contribute to the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios. Test Automation (Optional for Freshers): Learn and assist with basic test automation tasks using testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.). Continuous Improvement: Actively learn and stay up-to-date on new testing methodologies and tools. Suggest improvements to enhance the quality assurance process. Skills and Qualifications: Education: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
