Job Description
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Test Case Creation: Develop detailed test cases based on software requirements and specifications. Test Execution: Manually execute test cases to identify defects and ensure software functionality. Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and report defects using established defect tracking systems. Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not impact existing functionality. Exploratory Testing: Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects that scripted tests might miss. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans and test results. Test Data Preparation: Create or manipulate test data to simulate various scenarios and use cases. Bug Verification: Verify and validate that reported defects have been resolved before closing them. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure quality. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automation). Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Strong knowledge of test methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of databases and SQL queries for data validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation skills.,
