Job Description
Position: Software Testing Fresher Location: Bengaluru / Remote Job Type: Full-Time Responsibilities: Test Planning: Assist in the creation of test plans based on project requirements and specifications. Work closely with the testing team to understand the scope of testing and contribute to test strategy development. Test Case Design: Design test cases based on functional and technical specifications. Collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Test Execution: Execute test cases and document results thoroughly. Identify and report defects, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports. Regression Testing: Participate in regression testing to ensure that new developments do not negatively impact existing functionalities. Automation Testing: Learn and contribute to automated testing efforts using relevant testing tools. Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts. Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide valuable feedback. Documentation: Document test procedures, results, and other relevant information. Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing. Actively participate in training programs and self-learning initiatives. Quality Assurance: Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by participating in code reviews and other quality-focused activities. Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress, issues, and recommendations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus. Knowledge in Automation Preferred. Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
