As a skilled QA Engineer, you will be responsible for manual testing and creating test cases. You should have hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium and possess a solid understanding of SQL for database validation. Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Java, is essential for this role. Additionally, you should have experience in leading or mentoring a team. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, both manual and automated. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and other QA team members is crucial. You will be expected to identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. Automating test scenarios using tools like Selenium for API testing will be part of your daily tasks. Analyzing test results and preparing quality reports for stakeholders are integral to this role. It is important to proactively identify areas of improvement in testing processes and provide suggestions for enhancements. In terms of personal attributes, you must possess good written and oral communication skills. Collaboration with teams on various decisions is key, and you should be open to continuous learning and have strong analytical skills. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
