We are looking for a talented and dynamic Software Engineer who will play a key role in our IT team, with the potential to grow into the Head of IT role. Job Summary: The Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and automating processes within our ERP systems, Datatex NOW (Java-based) and Datatex CAMS (Pascal-based). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP concepts, including sales, purchase, inventory, and accounting, coupled with expertise in software development, networking, and hardware. Key Responsibilities: ERP Management: Learn and maintain Datatex NOW (Java-based) and Datatex CAMS (Pascal-based) ERP systems. Develop custom solutions and enhancements to streamline business operations. Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues. Automation and Analytics: Use Python for process automation to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with teams to design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for analytics. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, purchase, inventory, and accounting teams to ensure ERP processes align with business needs. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. IT Infrastructure Support: Provide networking and hardware support to ensure smooth IT operations. Collaborate with external vendors for IT hardware/software procurement and maintenance. Leadership Potential: Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Develop a deep understanding of the companys IT systems and processes to grow into the Head of IT role. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java and/or Pascal. Strong experience in Python for automation. Hands-on experience with Power BI for analytics and reporting. Solid understanding of networking and hardware concepts. ERP Knowledge: Thorough understanding of sales, purchase, inventory, and accounting processes. Prior experience with ERP systems is highly preferred. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Familiarity with Datatex ERP systems is highly desirable.
