Your role involves executing software solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and creating secure and high-quality production code that aligns with the firm's business objectives. You will be responsible for producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring that design constraints are met by the software code development. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, and synthesize data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems. Proactively identifying hidden problems and patterns in data will enable you to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture. As a seasoned Software Engineer, you are expected to contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new technologies. Furthermore, fostering a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect is essential in this role. The required qualifications for this position include formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with at least 3 years of applied experience. You should have hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Proficiency in coding in one or more languages, as well as experience with modern programming languages and database querying languages, is necessary. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security is also essential. Expertise in Java, Casandra, Kafka, Spring, Spring Boot, and Cloud Foundry is required for this role. Additionally, familiarity with modern front-end technologies, exposure to cloud technologies, and a deep understanding of REST & SOAP Protocols are preferred qualifications that would be advantageous in this position.
