As Cisco transitions to a software and recurring revenue model, the security business is leading the way with over 40% year-over-year growth in software recurring revenue. The Cloud Security group within SBG is focused on creating cloud-delivered security solutions in a platform-centric approach. This autonomous group operates like a startup within the business group, driving innovation in a high-growth domain. Formed by combining existing cloud assets with successful acquisitions like OpenDNS and CloudLock, the group aims to deliver complex security solutions in a cloud-native manner, while maintaining simplicity in deployment and management. As the Product Engineering group experiences 100% year-over-year growth, we are seeking a dedicated engineering leader to help scale our business further. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of cloud security as the landscape of work and threats evolve rapidly. You will be part of a team passionate about addressing the challenges of modern security and creating a safer digital world for all. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Product Engineering group in scaling the business and driving innovation in cloud security solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop highly scalable cloud applications. - Utilize your expertise in software development, Go, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to enhance our security offerings. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure and security applications to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving threat landscape. Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years of software development experience - Proficiency in Go and Python programming languages - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux operating systems Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, and build pipelines - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS Join us at Cisco, where diversity, inclusion, and innovation are at the core of everything we do.
