Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting end-to-end e-commerce application that is part of In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) product suite. Act as technical leader and mentor other software engineers and architects. Develop software architecture design. Partner and facilitate discussions between stakeholders. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Design and document end-to-end eCommerce architectures for B2B, B2B2C, and B2C models. Define and implement microservices, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures. Develop secure, high-transaction web and mobile application architectures aligned with PCI DSS compliance. Collaborate on DevOps, CI/CD, AWS Cloud Services, and infrastructure tools like API gateways, CDNs, and message buses. Conduct design reviews, technical documentation, and architecture presentations. Evaluate and prototype new technologies to enhance the product roadmap. Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineering teams. Requirements Strong expertise in eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify Plus, PimCore, or similar). Proficiency in web front-end frameworks (React preferred). Solid background in AWS Cloud Services and DevOps practices. Experience with Salesforce integrations is a plus. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Agile/Scrum experience. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or other related engineering degree, or equivalent experience 8+ years of full stack programming in at least two languages: PHP, Node.js, ReactJS, JavaScript, Go, Python 8+ years of building transactional systems using relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Maria DB, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Aurora, Document DB, or similar 3+ Years experience with Public Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP. 3+ years as tech lead / architect Certifications Preferred - AWS Developer, AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional REQ-148508,
