Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer specializing in civil engineering to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management, highlighting any issues or delays.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure that work is being carried out according to design specifications.
• Implement effective labour management strategies to optimize workforce productivity and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
• Resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction process, providing solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering and site management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
