Job Description
A site engineer manages construction projects, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency : Site management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the site, including supervising the labor force and subcontractors Quality control: Ensure that all work and materials meet specifications and industry standards Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, surveyors, and other professionals Compliance: Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws Project planning: Develop project plans, analyze survey reports, and calculate material quantities Progress monitoring: Monitor progress, review construction schedules, and report delays or issues Health and safety: Ensure that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to Record keeping: Complete and maintain detailed records and prepare site reports .
