Job Description
The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in full-stack web application development using various languages such as Javascript, TypeScript, and React. You should showcase proven expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of the Document Object Model (DOM). Previous experience in working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have a working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating. Moreover, the candidate should have prior experience in implementing and debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as the ability to build unique solutions when necessary. Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks is essential. Familiarity with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields is also required. It would be advantageous to have knowledge in at least one of the cloud provider services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The candidate should demonstrate a solid grasp of object-oriented design principles and be able to apply them effectively in coding. Familiarity with a full stack or backend framework like Rails, Django, Spring, or similar is preferred, as well as experience with a JavaScript framework like React, Vue, Angular, or similar. Furthermore, understanding of agile, lean, and DevOps principles, including testing, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and observability is essential. Experience in working with streaming media or wellness verticals would be a plus. Proficiency in four or more aspects of the tech stack, including Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Javascript/TypeScript, Postgres, Arango, Elasticsearch, Redis, Heroku, AWS, New Relic, Docker, Kubernetes, and Stripe APIs, is required. Additionally, it is good to have experience in any Cloud Service Provider (CSP) architecture and implementation, including deployment and scaling. Hands-on experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) models such as DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is beneficial. Familiarity with Cloud Services, DevOps, Docker images, containers, Kubernetes, distributed cache (Redis), and distributed Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions is also advantageous.,
