Role Summary: Seeking a hands-on supervisorto manage daily shop floor operations of a CNC VMC job shop, including handling of manpower, training and upskilling of operators & making process improvements. Position is open only for male applicants. Key Responsibilities: HR Management: Build strong employee relationships, track their performance. Establish and ensure adherence to company rules & standard operating procedures Operator Hiring & training: Recruit and train new machine operators & upskill existing operators Process Improvement (Kaizen): Make process improvements and monitor progress with the aim of improving job cycle time, reducing deviations & preventing rejections and damages. Technical Expertise : Provide guidance to operators on machining of complex jobs, workholding techniques, etc. Must-Have Skills & Experience: People Skills: Proven people management abilities. Ability to manaage workers is a must. VMC Operation: Experience and expertise in running VMC / CNC machines. About Company : We are a reputed name in the industry providing high precision 3-axis CNC milling job work services on Makino machines for dies, moulds and machine parts based in Mumbai. We have a total of 6 VMCs. You will be supervising a team of around 15-20 Operators and helpers.
