Job Description

As a candidate for the position, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of safety procedures and processes related to workplace safety and waste management in the fields. You will act as the Incident command control until the arrival of SSM in case of ERCP incidences. Monitoring the consumption of raw materials and utilities on a shift-wise basis will be a key part of your role, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting all process parameters and equipment conditions for the smooth operation of the plant. Effective use of the OMPro tool and ensuring compliance with SOP's are essential tasks. You will also be expected to lead the speedy restart of production after any plant breakdown, reduce flare loss, and highlight exceptions in parameters that affect product quality. Following up with maintenance departments to expedite planned and unplanned maintenance activities, carrying out improvement trials as planned, and identifying training and development needs of panel and field operators are crucial aspects of the role. Coordinating trainings for panel and field operators, sharing learnings from incidents and root cause analyses, planning OJT for shift staff, and participating in rack-up meetings are also part of your responsibilities. Maintaining shift logs for the respective area and equipment, reporting near-miss incidents, reducing effluent generation, waste during grade changeover in shifts, and recycle in shifts, as well as reducing HOTO time for maintenance, are key performance areas. Fulfilling identified training needs for self, having a B.E./B. Tech (Textile) with good and consistent academic records, and possessing 7 to 12 years of experience in any of the above technology are the educational and experience requirements for this position.,
