Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITSM Developer with strong experience in UI Builder to design, develop, and optimize user experiences across the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on implementing ITSM processes and building modern, intuitive interfaces using UI Builder, ensuring seamless alignment with business requirements and ServiceNow best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure ITSM applications on the ServiceNow platform including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.

  • Build and maintain custom workspaces and experiences using UI Builder and Workspace Experience Framework (WXP).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new or enhanced ServiceNow solutions.

  • Develop and optimize Service Portal pages, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Business Rules, and Flow Designer flows.

  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance policies.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.

  • Conduct unit testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

  • Stay current on new features and capabilities in the ServiceNow platform, particularly around Now Experience and UI Builder.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, including ITSM module implementation.

  • 1+ year hands-on experience with UI Builder and Workspace/Now Experience.

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS.

  • Experience with Service Portal, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CMDB, ACLs, and security controls.

  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required.

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ITSM Implementation Specialist Preferred.

  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, CSM, or ITOM is a plus.

  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and third-party APIs.
