Qualification: Diploma / Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software aspects of medical devices. Work Experience: Minimum 03 years service / maintenance / installation / demonstration experience in the medical device or healthcare industry. Requirements & Skills: Preferred age within 30 years. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals, patients, and technical staff, providing clear instructions, updates, and support. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Willingness to travel to client locations for service calls. Familiarity with healthcare equipment safety standards. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations, demonstrating a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, and self-motivation. Work Profile: Field service engineers for medical equipment's primary responsibility is to repair, service and install older and new medical equipment. They must also complete full service reports and complete all documentation associated with every service call. Field service engineers of medical equipment might need to instruct other engineers and also provide relevant feedback to the appropriate departments regarding the performance of equipment. In addition, they have to resolve problems that concern medical equipment and provide an excellent customer service experience. It is usually an all-time job, however the need for overtime or alternative hours could be necessary based on the requirements of the company. It is common to travel for this job and heavy lifting might be needed from time to time. Conducting on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of medical equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment at client sites, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and in accordance with safety standards. Providing technical support and training to healthcare professionals on the operation and maintenance of medical equipment. You will assist healthcare professionals by offering technical support and training on how to operate and maintain the medical equipment effectively. Diagnosing equipment malfunctions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing appropriate corrective actions. You will diagnose malfunctions in the equipment, troubleshoot issues, and take necessary actions to correct them, ensuring the equipment is in optimal working condition. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to ensure timely delivery of services and customer satisfaction. Flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate client needs or emergencies. Travel as and when required.
