Job Summary The SEO Content Writer Analyst 2 is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager within the Digital Channel Marketing Team. The primary focus is on search engine optimization (SEO) content strategy and development, overseeing execution across Bread Financial-owned properties as well as with brand partner portfolios. This role strategizes, writes, edits, publishes, and optimizes online content to appeal to search engines and improve organic rankings. This role involves identifying and targeting relevant keywords, adopting a writing style consistent with our brand and partners, and monitoring content performance to improve future marketing strategies. This includes coordinating digital content projects and analyzing business partner requirements to shape content strategy; ensuring adherence to established UX standards; collaborating with UX interaction designers to meet the user needs; and working with capability and business stakeholders to review and refine content deliverables. Essential Job Functions Act as the SEO content strategy and execution expert for digital properties. Develop and implement comprehensive SEO plans. Create effective off-page/on-page SEO content, including title tags, meta descriptions, optimized header tags, and long-form content. Ensure content strategies align with marketing objectives, use best practices and innovative approaches to boost organic search performance. Leverage digital customer experience to write universally understandable content. Guide UX content strategy by staying current on content trends and competitors. Evaluate web developments for feasibility and recommend new content approaches. Ensure content consistency across teams. Understand major search engines and user search behavior to create relevant, engaging content that drives product and service usage. Responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-friendly content including blogs and landing pages. Update and enhance existing content to maintain high search rankings and relevance, ensuring alignment with brand voice and guidelines. Exhibit a keen eye for detail and the ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences. Prioritize the quality and consistency of content. Produce clear, concise, and engaging articles that reflect our brand and brand partners, maintaining consistent brand voice. Ensure all content meets high standards and aligns business objectives, enhancing the overall user experience and brand perception. Handle ad-hoc copywriting tasks related to test and learn copy, financial education blog articles, and other content types such as videos, quizzes, and infographics. Adapt writing style to meet the needs of various content formats and audiences, ensuring all content is engaging and effective. Evaluate and enhance marketing content, engage in stakeholder meetings, and manage and prioritize analysis requests. Support enterprise-wide initiatives, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure timely and accurate completion of content projects. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance content creation and optimization workflows. Prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and coordinate efforts across the matrix organization and external partners to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Research keywords, competitor content, and industry trends. Work with the digital analytics team to measure content impact and make data-driven decisions. Coordinate with marketing, design, and development teams for seamless content integration. Build strong relationships across Client Partnerships and Digital Operations. Analyze business issues, resolve problems, and communicate opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience 2+ years experience in Content Writing, Content Strategy, SEO, Advertising & Communication or a related field. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years experience in in Content Writing, Content Strategy, SEO, Advertising, and experience Content Writing, Content Strategy, SEO, Advertising, and Communication, with exposure to content management systems and lean startup and agile methodologies.
