Job Description
The Senior Validation & Verification Engineer role based in Mumbai (Ambernath + Mulund) involves planning, executing, and overseeing validation and verification processes for products to ensure they meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Responsibilities include developing and implementing V&V plans, test protocols, and test cases, executing various testing activities, analyzing test results, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, IEC 61010, and supporting risk analysis. The role also involves participating in design reviews, working on process improvement, and developing SOPs related to V&V. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields with at least 5 years of experience in V&V within instrumentation, medical devices, or industrial automation. Hands-on experience in hardware, firmware, and software testing of industrial instruments is required, along with familiarity with sensor-based technologies, HMI, PLC/DCS systems, and IoT-enabled devices. Experience with regulatory audits and certification processes is preferred. Key skills for this role include strong knowledge of testing methodologies, expertise in using testing tools, knowledge of reliability testing methods, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred certifications include Certified Test Engineer (ISTQB or equivalent), Six Sigma Green Belt for process improvement, and certifications in IEC/ISO regulatory standards.,
