Operating nationally from offices in Birmingham, Brighton, Leicester and Nottingham, we provide expert guidance for a wide range of clients.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Transport Planner to join our growing team at MEC. This role can be based out of our offices in either Birmingham, Brighton, Leicester, or our upcoming office in Nottingham.

REQUIREMENTS
Key role responsibilities:
Undertake Transport Statements, Assessments and Travel Plans to support planning applications for various private sector clients;
Design project management, co-ordination with other disciplines/offices, client liaison, fee proposals and invoicing;
Be proficient in undertaking junction capacity assessments using industry standard software including JUNCTIONS and LINSIG;
Experience in the use of AutoCAD and preliminary highway design is desirable but not essential;
Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills, with high standard of attention to detail and personal work ethic
Be willing and able to mentor junior staff in their training and development;
Experience producing Transport Notes, Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans;
Understanding of relevant local and national transport policy and guidance;
Liaise with clients, colleagues and statutory bodies including Planning Authorities and Highway Authorities, to ensure efficient progress with project commissions;
Help to deliver excellent customer service; and
Follow a continued professional development/programme of training
