Experience: 4 to 8 years Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Department: Testing Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer with 48 years of experience in Android-based smartphone testing, mobile application testing, and QA methodologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Android log analysis, bug tracking (e.g., JIRA), and both manual and automation testing. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Android smartphones and mobile applications. Perform functional, regression, performance, and system testing on Android platforms. Analyze Android logs (Logcat, Crash logs, etc.) to troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues. Collaborate closely with development, product, and design teams to ensure product quality. Report, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or similar. Develop and maintain test documentation including test cases, bug reports, and QA metrics. Perform OTA update testing, compatibility testing, and localization testing as needed. Provide mentorship to junior testers and contribute to test strategy improvements. Required Skills & Experience: 48 years of experience in mobile device testing, specifically Android smartphones and applications. Strong knowledge of Android OS, ADB commands, and log analysis tools. Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automation tools/frameworks is a plus (e.g., Appium, Espresso). Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA. Good communication and documentation skills.,
