The Senior Technology Engineer will drive the engineering function within the organization, focusing on design, development, implementation, standardization, and automation of infrastructure products. This role is pivotal in advancing the software-defined datacenter and hybrid cloud journey by leveraging SRE/DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a T-shaped technical profile, with deep expertise in Linux operating systems and the ability to work across multiple disciplines. You will collaborate with architects, automate infrastructure, contribute to open-source solutions, and ensure operational stability while reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Key Responsibilities1. Product Standardization & Automation Drive projects to eliminate non-compliant products and enforce standardized infrastructure stacks. Automate deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps. Conduct peer code reviews and enforce best practices in IaC. 2. Strategy & Roadmap Execution Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and backlog in 2-week sprints. Lead cloud migration initiatives (on-prem to public cloud: Azure, AWS, OCI). Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost, and security. 3. Cost & Operational Efficiency Reduce TCO through automation, open-source adoption, and vendor engagement. Implement zero-touch deployments and self-healing infrastructure. Address audit, risk, and compliance items proactively. 4. Technical Leadership & Innovation Research and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, ELK stack). Troubleshoot complex issues across networking (SD-WAN, DNS, load balancers), security (SSL, CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault), and databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB). Enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and database automation. Education & Certifications Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent (Essential). Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), Azure/AWS/OCI Cloud Architect (Essential). Experience 8+ years in infrastructure engineering, leading cloud migration projects (on-prem to Azure/AWS/OCI). Expert in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitOps. Hands-on with Linux, Windows, scripting (Bash/Python/Groovy), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift). Strong knowledge of networking (SD-WAN, DNS, firewalls), security (SSL/TLS, certificates, CyberArk), and databases. Location : Onsite at Chennai , Bengaluru,
