Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) to drive our automation initiatives, enhance testing frameworks, and lead technical advancement within the Quality Engineering (QE) team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art test automation frameworks, while also providing guidance to team members and collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration. It is imperative that the ideal candidate has recent hands-on experience (minimum 1 year) with Cypress. Your responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive test automation frameworks, offering technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior Quality Engineers, evaluating and selecting appropriate automation tools and technologies, establishing and enforcing best practices for test automation development and maintenance, and collaborating with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Key Focus Areas: - Automation Leadership: Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive test automation frameworks. - Technical Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior Quality Engineers (QEs). - Tool & Tech Evaluation: Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools, technologies, and best practices. - Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for test automation development and maintenance. - CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with development teams to seamlessly integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. - Test Automation Expertise: Specialize in test automation for complex workflows and integration tests. - Cypress Expertise: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Cypress for automation of complex workflows and integration. - Framework Enhancement: Improve existing test frameworks and develop tools/scripts for process automation. - Team Growth: Mentor junior QEs, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
