Job Description
The Application Developer is primarily responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining Integration Solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency. The main responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions to connect various applications, systems, and services using OIC. This involves customizing and configuring OIC adapters, connectors, and components, as well as developing RESTful and SOAP Web services for data exchange and communication between different systems. Collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders is crucial to gather requirements, define integration workflows and data flows. Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of integration solutions are also key tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Documentation of integration processes, interfaces, and configurations is necessary, along with conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards, development methodologies, and security protocols throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with 5 or more years of experience in the IT industry. Experience in cloud-based integration platforms, specifically OIC, is required. Additionally, the candidate should possess proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using OIC, a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, and other data formats, as well as knowledge in OIC API integration. Strong development skills in Java, understanding of SOAP and REST-based services, knowledge of authentication methodologies for integration platforms, and familiarity with OIC GEN2 and GEN3 are essential. Experience in migration from OIC GEN2 to GEN3 would be an advantage.,
