Cvents R&D is currently looking for a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our Microapps team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, Next.js, React, Tailwind and experience building for builders. You should be a self-starter capable of taking ambiguous requirements and coming up with a viable solution. You should also be able to design scalable, high-performance solutions that empower our product development teams to create world-class products. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to design, build, maintain and support our Microapps team. What You Will Be Doing: Contribute directly to the evolution of framework features and capabilities that achieve improvement in resilience, scalability, security and product developer velocity. Showcase strong architecture and design instincts in order to collaborate with technical leadership and other cross functional teams to develop and execute on roadmap. Support consuming teams as they adopt, upgrade and utilize the development framework to create solutions. Proactively stays ahead of emerging technologies and trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. Consistently look for ways to remove friction to ensuring a desirable experience for our customers the developer What You Will Need for this Position: Primary Skills: Bachelors+ in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience 4 to 7 years of Software Development experience Highly proficient in at least one object-oriented language: Java is a plus Highly proficient in JavaScript or Typescript for web application development Experience in CI/CD concepts, knowing how to configure and manage pipelines to ensure that software updates are deployed quickly, safely and efficiently. Some experience with AWS services including Cloudfront, ECS, S3, DynamoDB and others Strong passion for Software development, and taking pride in your craft Experience building framework libraries is a plus Fluent in written and spoken English Preferred Skills: Experience presenting ideas, techniques, or approaches to other team members Experience in full stack development ranging from front-end user interfaces to backend systems Experience with Node.js and Next.js Experience with AWS Experience with Nrwl/Nx,
