Job Description
As a Senior Cloud Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in driving our cloud technology solutions and significantly impacting our clients" digital transformation journeys. Your main responsibility will be to pursue and secure qualified leads, collaborating closely with our Client Management team and internal partners to present tailored solutions that cater to client needs. You will take charge of generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base. Engaging directly with clients at various levels, you will leverage your cloud technology expertise to create and deliver compelling value propositions. Your role will involve a combination of proactive selling and supporting the sales process, working alongside pre-sales architects to design optimal solutions for our clients. Developing and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships, both with new and existing clients, will be essential as you explore new business opportunities and territories. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to gaining a deep understanding of client business goals and articulating solutions that meet their specific requirements. You will be responsible for preparing and conducting client workshops, delivering engaging presentations, and establishing professional relationships within assigned accounts. Your objective will be to secure deals that align with our sales strategies and meet assigned quotas and targets. Remaining informed about the competitive landscape and market trends, you will utilize this knowledge to enhance our solutions and maintain a competitive edge. Collaborating with relevant technology vendors, you will ensure a comprehensive understanding of their offerings and how they integrate with our solutions. Identifying new sales opportunities within accounts and driving them to closure with the support of our sales teams will also be part of your responsibilities. Applying sales methodologies and tools, like opportunity and account plans, will enable you to drive the sales process effectively. By formulating and executing your sales strategy, you will contribute to the broader territory sales plan and strive towards achieving your sales targets. Your advanced business acumen and negotiation skills will play a vital role in crafting solutions that are mutually beneficial for customers and NTT DATA. To excel in this role, you should possess extensive sales experience in a technology or services environment, a track record of achieving and surpassing sales and financial targets, a deep understanding of the cloud technology domain, and a strong client-centric approach. Proficiency in delivering engaging sales presentations, team selling approaches, knowledge of the competitive landscape, successful sales strategies application, negotiation skills, accurate sales forecasting abilities, and the capability to develop meaningful customer relationships up to senior leadership levels are also key requirements. Additionally, flexibility to adapt to new missions or urgent deadlines quickly, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology/systems, sales, or a related field, and industry/vendor sales certifications are necessary qualifications for this role.
