You will be part of Hitachi Energy, Automation and Communication business in Bangalore, responsible for the development of protection and control products for power generation, transmission, and sub-transmission network applications. Your role will involve verification and validation of substation automation products, ensuring top-notch product quality for bay-level solutions. Join a dynamic team that plays a key role in innovative testing methods and supports software tools to enhance the verification and validation processes. As a key member of the team, you will participate in test core team workshops to understand product test requirements and perform software/domain test activities on system/product projects. Your responsibilities will include developing new and adaptive design of test cases, reporting and verifying test defect logs, and collaborating effectively with various product stakeholder groups. You will also be technically responsible for ensuring the mutual consistency and efficient integration of subsystems in modular software that meets product specifications. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3-8 years of practical experience in Substation Automation. Technical proficiency in the field of protection and communication protocols used in substations is essential, along with knowledge of computer networks, OSI layers, and different protocols. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# is required, and familiarity with the Agile development method is a plus. Effective communication skills, both spoken and written, are necessary for successful collaboration with team members.
