Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced scientist with strong expertise in chemical synthesis and encapsulation technologies for cosmetic or pharmaceutical actives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for synthesizing high-purity molecules and developing innovative delivery systems that improve stability, bioavailability, and performance of actives in skincare formulations. Key Responsibilities Perform chemical synthesis of active ingredients and fine chemicals for cosmetic/pharma use Design and develop encapsulation systems such as: Liposomes, Nanostructured Lipid Carriers (NLCs), Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (SLNs), Polymeric or biopolymer-based nano/micro particles, Cyclodextrin complexes. Conduct purification and characterization of synthesized compounds (HPLC, IR, MS, etc.) Evaluate encapsulation efficiency, particle size, zeta potential, and release profiles Optimize formulations for stability, compatibility, and delivery performance Collaborate with formulation, product development, and QA teams Maintain thorough documentation of synthesis and encapsulation procedures Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and applicable GLP/GMP standards Qualifications M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nanotechnology, or related field Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in chemical synthesis and encapsulation Strong knowledge of encapsulation technologies for actives used in skincare or pharmaceuticals Proficient in analytical tools: IR, MS, HPLC, UV-Vis, etc. Understanding of stability parameters, release kinetics, and safety of actives Desirable Traits Passion for innovation in skincare/cosmetic science Strong attention to detail and quality control Team-oriented with excellent communication skills What We Offer Opportunity to work on innovative, science-driven skincare ingredient systems Dynamic work environment with cross-functional collaboration Competitive salary with growth potential,
