In line with this vision, OnGrid is seeking a motivated Automation Quality Assurance Specialist. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in test automation frameworks, scripting, and continuous integration practices. The role involves playing a pivotal part in ensuring software quality by developing automated tests, enhancing test strategies, and collaborating closely with developers and QA teams. The position requires a combination of robust technical skills, a keen analytical mindset, and meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various testing frameworks such as Selenium, Java, Cypress, and Appium. - Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to detect defects and uphold product quality standards. - Collaborate with integration teams at clients and internal product & engineering teams. - Conduct basic security and performance testing. - Manage the API life cycle, engage in integration, implement and test REST APIs, and comprehend documentation. - Propose software enhancements to enrich user experience. - Drive development processes for efficiency and performance improvement. - Enhance automation frameworks and expand test coverage. - Ensure software releases meet high-quality standards, fulfill all requirements, and are suitable for purpose and use. - Provide regular updates on personal deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. - Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements. Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing within the Software Tester/QC engineer/QA engineer/Quality Analyst domain. - Profound knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. - Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI. - Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc. - Sound understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle. - Ability to grasp integration architecture and provide technical documentation. - Exceptional attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. - Interest/experience in enhancing efficiency in software testing. - Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and possessing a versatile skill set. - Strong prioritization and focus skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with the engineering team on integration and architecture. - Capability to handle stressful situations and comprehend the demands of a startup environment.
