Position Title: Python- Lead Engineer Application development / Microservice / Employment Type: Full-time Location: India, Mumbai/Pune Experience level: 6-8 years Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and architectures. Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient application code, primarily in Python - Django/Flask/FastAPI Write automated tests for code developed. Integrate generative AI models and services into our applications via APIs and SDKs Design and implement data modeling solutions using techniques such as ORM, key-value pairs, etc. Write clean, well-documented, and test-driven code to ensure reliability and maintainability Optimize application performance, scalability, and security through profiling, caching, and best practices. Troubleshoot and debug production issues across the application stack. Continuously optimize and refactor code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software development and application architecture, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate Skills Requirement Advanced proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks React with other frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc used for backend services. Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles Proven experience in Front end development/ full-stack development from design, development to deployment Familiarity with cloud-based database services in AWS, cloud-based deployment, scaling and management options Experience with software development tools and techniques (Git, Jira, Agile) Ability to lead and mentor a team of application developers Excellent communication and collaboration skills About Xficient Xficient Inc is a cutting-edge GenAI product and platform company that is pioneering the application of Generative AI technology within the enterprise setting.
