As a Senior Executive in Purchase (Packing Material) at our pharmaceutical company located in Borivali East, Mumbai, India, your primary responsibilities will include sourcing and procurement of all packing materials, managing vendor relationships and negotiating for cost optimization, ensuring timely deliveries and effective supply chain management. It will be crucial for you to possess a thorough knowledge of packaging and printing materials specifically for pharmaceutical products. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving packaging processes and inventory management, as well as coordinating with Quality, Warehouse, Formulation, and Export Sales teams. Ensuring compliance with packaging schedules and SOPs, and implementing new technologies for process efficiency will be key aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Graduate degree in any discipline; a Material Management qualification would be considered a plus. It is essential to have knowledge of artwork proofing and packing material evaluation, along with experience in coordinating with printers and vendors, ideally with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
