The Senior Project Engineer based at our Pune, Maharashtra office is a key member of the project management delivery team, plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of the project through effective planning, coordination, and problem-solving. Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Review and interpret detailed design drawings, specifications, and contracts. Procurement of key Project items including but not limited to pumps, pipework, pressure vessels and skids. Ensure that fabrication and construction activities comply with design specifications, codes, and standards. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that work is completed to the required standards. Address and resolve any out-of-scope tasks, quality issues, or non-conformances. Monitor project budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost control. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budget forecasts. Provide accurate data for project managers" cost forecasts and invoicing. Assist with inputs to tenders prepared by the Sales and Proposals Team. Position Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering (civil, chemical, or mechanical). Minimum 8 years of experience in project engineering. Excellent English Language written and verbal skills. Well-developed knowledge of fabrication and construction practices, standards, and regulations. Water treatment experience, ideally with Desalination and RO technologies. Awareness of QA/QC process and documentation. Contract Management experience. Procurement experience. Project management skills with the ability to schedule, organize, and coordinate activities. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Customer-focused with a commitment to safety and environmental practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Project, Word and Excel.
