Key Responsibilities: Conduct engaging lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in Western vocal/instrumental music and music theory Develop and regularly update curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with academic standards and global trends in Western music Mentor and guide students on academic projects, stage performances, and research in Western music Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and live presentations Actively participate in departmental activities, curriculum reviews, and institutional events Collaborate with fellow faculty on academic, performance-based, and cultural initiatives Stay abreast of contemporary developments in Western music and music technology Eligibility Criteria: Ph.D. in Western Music or UGC-NET qualified in Music (mandatory) 810 years of teaching experience at the university or college level Demonstrated proficiency in Western classical/contemporary music, either vocal or instrumental Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in live performance, ensemble work, or music production is highly desirable,
