Position Summary The Production Planning Job Family is responsible for optimizing the use of resources and meeting production schedules and standards including: planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements; researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities; plans departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation; expedites operations that delay and alters schedules; analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources Work Youll Do Tracking of all open orders with status Releasing the planned order to production order to manufacturing and subcontract within 48 hours. Responsibility for handling 4Ms (Man, Machine , Material , Method) Maintenance of SAP item master file for MML fabricated components such as lot sizing, stocking levels, lead times, etc. Develop and monitor production schedules based on inventory plan, customer delivery requirements, forecasts and plant capacity utilization; Liaise with the Sub-contracting Coordinator to ensure inventory levels are successfully maintained; Participate in the make versus buy decisions; Monitoring each WorkCentre performance on daily basis with Production Team. Support external sourcing decisions; Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements; Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations; Ensure ISO guidelines are followed; Complete miscellaneous duties and tasks as they may be assigned; Team Will be working in Planning Department by coordinating with design, Engineering , production and Supply Chain Basic Qualifications BE Mechanical with 5 years experience in Production planning , or Diploma in Mold Making with 8 years experience in Production planning Preferred Qualifications Experience in Mold making or Hot runner manufacturing industries is preferable An advanced level of knowledge of SAP or equivalent integrated software system. Planning experience in an international environment. Must be proficient with MS Office. Ability to multi-task; strong organization skills. Good written and oral communication skills; strong inter-personal skills; good attention to detail given the company wide impact. Ability to be proactive and incorporate efficiencies into daily tasks. Creative individual with an expected ability to make recommendations for change and continuous improvement initiatives.
