We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to lead our production operations and drive excellence in manufacturing at our Mumbai facility. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Control Develop, implement, and manage effective production schedules. Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to align with production goals and customer demands. Determine required material and equipment resources, and oversee procurement decisions. Operations Management Establish, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and safety standards throughout the plant. Make data-driven decisions related to equipment maintenance, upgrades, and utilization. Quality Control Define and uphold product quality standards. Implement and oversee quality assurance programs. Analyze quality metrics and production output to proactively identify and resolve issues. Process Improvement Recommend and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency, productivity, and quality. Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards. Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Team Leadership Monitor team performance, provide training and interventions for staff development. Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning. Reporting & Budgeting Prepare detailed production reports and performance summaries. Estimate production costs, prepare budgets, and implement cost control measures. Ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration with procurement, distribution, and management. Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in production or manufacturing roles. Strong background in production techniques, raw materials, process improvement, and compliance. Preferred Industry Background: Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Equipment Manufacturing. Skills & Competencies Expertise in production and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of health, safety, and quality compliance. Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills. Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and process optimization.
