Job Description
Job description: Sr. Manager Sourcing/Procurement Ensure all procurements against production plans/statical buying whether local or imports. Selection and evaluation of new suppliers. Supplier performance monitoring. Ensure smooth supply of Consumables and Raw material. Periodic Stock Verification. Daily Stock shortages reporting to AGM Commercial. Maintain Stock in ERP and keep up to date. Responsible to monitor and maintain inventory. Consumption pattern regular monitoring and reporting to AGM Commercial. To maintain the consumption report. Conduct regular audits of the stores physical and practical condition to ensure quality. Ensure smooth store operations and effectively without shortages and excess inventory. Responsible for the maintenance of max. and min. stocks. Maintenance of inventory records, preparation of material orders, and the receiving, inspecting and storing of supplies disbursed on job orders and material transfers. Ensure the departmental budget norms pertaining to inventory consumption are adhered to and any variances being reported to AGM Commercial. Ensure that the goods are classified and stacked accordingly to its specification and location ensuring its custody. Determine and ensure optimal security of all materials and arrange for all shipments as per requirement. Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes according to procedures and update processes if required. Manage all communications with Finance department as well as other user department to cater the requirement of respective teams on timely basis. Desired Candidate Profile Min. 12-15 years experience of handling Procurement department. Sound knowledge of industry-specific Standards. Leadership, Decision-Maker. Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Proficient with ERP and other similar software.
