As a Senior Platform Engineer (Networks) with 8-14 years of experience, you will be a key member of the Platform Engineering Network team at Claranet. Your primary responsibility will be the design, implementation, ownership, and management of networking and security elements across various platforms and technologies, including public, hybrid, and private cloud environments. Your role will involve working with technologies such as NSX, FortiGate, F5, switching/routing, firewall, load balancing, and SDN technologies. You will be tasked with ensuring the availability, uptime, and compliance of all internal and external customer platforms. This includes responding to major incidents and tickets within agreed SLAs, maintaining platform compliance, and keeping your skills up-to-date to align with organizational goals. In alignment with Claranet's strategy of building long-term relationships with customers through market-leading managed services, you will play a crucial role in creating stable and reliable platforms. By driving efficiencies through automation, process design, documentation, and continual service improvements, you will contribute to maximizing synergy and efficiency across the technology landscape. Your responsibilities will also include participating in on-call support, carrying out business as usual activities related to network technology, responding to tickets and major incidents, optimizing platform performance, and proactively managing lifecycle processes.
