Job Description

As a Senior Node.js Developer at Flycatch, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications and services. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver high-performance solutions and contribute to the overall architecture and best practices for our development projects. You should have a minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in Node.js development, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering high-quality applications. Proficiency in Node.js and its core modules is essential, along with experience in Express.js or other Node.js frameworks for building web applications. A strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript, and asynchronous programming is required. Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is expected. You should also have experience with API design and development, including RESTful APIs, as well as working with ORMs for databases. Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is necessary. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus, while familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required for this role.
