Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager (Long haul destinations & B2C Sales in Travel industry) position is a full-time role based in Bangalore/Mumbai, requiring 7 - 10 years of sales experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or managerial role within the travel industry and Long haul destinations Experience. As the Senior Sales Manager, you will be tasked with leading the sales team, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth. Your role demands a dynamic and results-oriented approach, with a deep understanding of the travel industry and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic sales plans, expanding the customer base, leading, mentoring, and motivating the sales team, monitoring and analyzing sales performance, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with key clients. Additionally, you will stay updated with travel trends, ensure team knowledge of travel products and services, collaborate with other departments for operational efficiency, and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field, with a Master's degree considered a plus. You should have proven experience in sales management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong leadership abilities, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, flexibility to work irregular hours, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with high-value client management and B2C sales, an established network within the travel industry, and proficiency in multiple languages.
