The role you are applying for supports the development of the next generation network design capability, enabling industry-leading design capability for all Global business units, Sectors, and ND Global Capability Centers, across the End-to-End Value Chain. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that enhance the efficiency and performance of the supply chain network while supporting long-term growth. To achieve this, you will collaborate with Global Network Design Modelers and stakeholders to focus on data-driven decision-making, reporting, supporting model development, and testing new state-of-the-art optimization software. This collaborative effort aims to identify transformative projects that will significantly enhance profitability, efficiency, sustainability, and service levels in alignment with the organization's global operational objectives. Your key responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to support network optimization projects, running scenario analysis and sensitivities using new and existing optimization tools, identifying trends and bottlenecks in supply chain operations through data visualization, assisting GND modelers in model validation and calibration using real-world data, collaborating with GND Modelers to test and refine optimization solutions, supporting ad-hoc analytics requests from business teams, developing dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders, managing multiple tasks and priorities concurrently, and working effectively under tight timelines. You will also be expected to develop domain knowledge and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Network Modeling and analytics. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in operations research, Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain, or a related field, and have a total of 8-10 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar role. Strong analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. You should be comfortable handling large datasets and deriving meaningful insights from them.
