The ideal candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience and possess expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, Rest API, and AWS services such as DynamoDB, UKS, SQS, and Lambda. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of design patterns, problem debugging skills, and experience working with high volume systems. The responsibilities of the Senior Java Developer - Backend include designing, implementing, and integrating solutions, collaborating with stakeholders such as QA, Product Owner, and Engineering Manager, supporting existing services and products, and maintaining code quality. The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal guidance. It is beneficial for the candidate to have experience in the eCommerce domain, knowledge of Jenkins and caching technologies, and the ability to perform peer reviews and assist junior team members. The successful candidate should be well-versed in functional design patterns, have a background in Engineering Disciplines, and be committed to continuous learning and improvement.
