We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Application Engineer with expertise in React and Next.js to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. Your role will involve providing technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to the overall architecture and strategy of our web development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern web development practices, a passion for building scalable and performant applications, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. The key requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in web application development. You should have expert proficiency in React and Next.js, a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil, and familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress. Additionally, experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, asynchronous programming, version control systems such as Git, strong problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential. As a Senior Web Application Engineer, your responsibilities will include leading the development and maintenance of complex web applications using React and Next.js, designing and implementing scalable, performant, and maintainable architectures, writing clean, well-documented, and testable code, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, collaborating with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to define project requirements, and delivering high-quality solutions. You will also be expected to implement responsive and accessible user interfaces, optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security, conduct code reviews, stay up to date with the latest web development trends, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries, participate in Agile development processes, drive architectural decisions and technology selection, and lead technical discussions and present solutions to stakeholders.
